PLEASE NOTE: 

Effective 8/25/2010, we will be changing the location of our monthly membership meeting to the Highland Conference Center at 2012 Magnolia Avenue, Birmingham, AL  35205.

 

The immediate benefits of this change are as follows:

 

  • This facility still should be very convenient for our members and guests. 

 

  • Not only will we not have to increase our luncheon fee, the facility has offered us complementary Valet Parking on the days of our events. They have simply asked us to please remember to bring an extra dollar or two in order to tip the Valet. 

 

  • Should you not be interested in the free valet parking, there is parking in the Public Deck and your ticket will be validated by the Conference Cente

 

Address and directions to Highland Conference Center are as follows:

 

Valet Parking will be with the Highland Hotel on 1023 20th Street South, Birmingham, AL  35205

 

From Downtown � Travel to 22nd Street and follow it until you have passed 8th Avenue South.  Turn right onto Magnolia Avenue which should be the next red light.  Proceed 2 blocks until you get to 20th Street and turn right.  Go about � block and The Highland Hotel Valet Parking will be on the right side.

 

From 280 � Get off on the 8th Avenue South (University Blvd) Exit.  Travel to 22nd Street South (about 4 blocks) and turn left.   Turn right onto Magnolia Avenue which should be the next red light.  Proceed 2 blocks until you get to 20th Street and turn right.  Go about � block and The Highland Hotel Valet Parking will be on the right side.

 

From 65 South - Take I-65 South to Exit #259B � 4th Avenue South and exit.  Follow 4th Avenue South (east bound) to 22nd Street South.  Turn right onto 22nd Street South and follow approximately 7 blocks to Magnolia and turn right.  Proceed 2 blocks until you get to 20th Street and turn right.  Go about � block and The Highland Hotel Valet Parking will be on the right side.

 

From 65 North - Follow I-65 North to the 8th Avenue South/University Blvd Exit and exit.  Follow 8th Avenue South/University Blvd to 22nd Street South and turn right.  At next red light, turn right onto Magnolia. Proceed 2 blocks until you get to 20th Street and turn right.  Go about � block and The Highland Hotel Valet Parking will be on the right side.

 

Once you have entered the Hotel Highland, go straight through to the breezeway and the Conference Center is straight across.  

 

If you do not wish to use the valet services, you may park in the Public Parking deck which is located on Magnolia Avenue.  Please go up the ramp into the deck.  Bring your card in to be validated. You will take the elevator to the 1st floor and you will be in the breezeway.  The Highland Conference Center is next to the Paint-N-Party and Cosmos Pizza.
